Programs are not one form
Techstars runs many accelerators. Techstars Anywhere is the remote-first track: no relocation, North American time zones, three in-person offsites in VC hubs, launched 2017. Official page: techstars.com/accelerators/anywhere.

Algarve / Portugal
Anywhere is specified for North American time zones. Southern Portugal is not that zone. Do not treat Anywhere as a no-relocation fit without that constraint. City programs have their own location rules. Apply via apply.techstars.com and read the program you selected.

Techstars’ published accelerator offer is $220,000 ($200k uncapped MFN Safe + $20k CEA for 5% common). Asia-Pacific programs are the $120,000 exception. Anywhere is not that exception. Source: techstars.com/investment-terms. JoinAI does not invest.
Solo founders
Techstars has said in its own application FAQ videos that they have accepted solo founders and that you should show how the company will still grow. A separate Founder Catalyst pre-accelerator page also says solo founders are welcome — that is not the core accelerator. Do not invent a global “solo is allowed on several tracks” policy; name the page you mean.
